Photography has become a very important and irreplaceable part of any wedding. Because a wedding is more than just two people saying ‘I do’. It’s two people coming together, entwining their fates and lives with each other in holy matrimony, ‘Till death do us part’. It’s going round the mandap, hand in hand with the flames as witness to a life sworn with another. It’s the little moments like the slight blush on their cheeks and the tears that are held back only to ultimately flow, all real moments with strong emotions that can transcend the frames and reflect on to others in pictures.
Couples and their family alike have a need to capture each and every moment to remember forever. Some might feel that it can get monotonous. But, the reality isn’t so monochrome as we find out. Here are seven wedding photography trends that’s been making its round through the wedding crowd this year.

This wedding photography trend is making it’s way into the arena and makings it’s place on the list with an intention to stay.
Stop Motion Wedding Photo Films

It’s a simple compilation of photographs that become an animated form of storytelling. This trend uses technology, innovation and you can get as creative as you like with it.
Drone Shots
Get creative, the sky’s no longer the limit in wedding photography. There has been a rise in popularity for drones in the wedding photography and video. And why not? With aerial shots that span 360 degrees capturing even the most intricate and overlooked moments of the wedding and the option to capture it all without the photographer having to make his way through the crowded venues or performing risky acrobatic feats. It’s a pretty sweet deal, we think!
Proposal Photos
There’s are moments before the actual wedding, that are as, if not more, special. They are memorable moments that should be captured to reminiscence. She said ‘Yes’, and that moment is when a marriage actually begins! With proposals getting quirkier and much more imaginative than ever before, it’s become equally important to capture that in shot as well.
Story Tales
Showcase your story, spread the magic of your fairy tale that came through. This trend has been increasingly popular as it features not just the bride and the groom, but their family and friends as well. The perks, you get some awesome candid moments you would’ve not gotten otherwise. It might seem a much simpler process than hiring a photographer exclusively for the event. But then again, professional photography is at a level that most normal people can only aim at.
