From the land of soccer and samba, Camila travels around the world to capture intimate moments in unique compositions and framed wonders.
A few too many or one too many pictures?
I prefer to take a million than miss even a single moment. For weddings I take another photographer to me and we take about 8000 images. But if it’s a post wedding session, I have more time to relax and compose shots creatively.
Trend to be or not to be?
Each wedding is unique to me and I try my best not to keep the images unique too. I don’t like to take reference from other photographs and make the exact replicas.
These days editing is as important as photography, what’s your opinion of the edtiting extant ?
I always try to get the perfect photo and use Photoshop only to improve some details like
contrast.
What moment would you like to go incognito and shoot as a wedding photographer?
That would be the proposal. It’s rare to hire a photographer for this occasion, but I have done it a few times. It’s amazing, I can capture the purest emotion
If you had to sum up a wedding in a similie it would be?
Construcao de uma casa; it is like the construction of a house. You need to have dedication,
involvement and also hire good professionals to get it right.
