Charlotte Balbier has a legacy of bridal wear to her credit. Growing up in her maternal grandparents boutique that started in 1960s, it was natural she followed the family business. A pioneer of lace detailing and vintage styling in modern bridal design, Charlotte’s 2014 collection ‘A Decade of Style’ teams muted hues with metallic accents for subtle sophistication.

This year is all about embellishing definitive looks with modern touches such as back detail with low cut backs, cutaway daring designs and sheer lace backs with lots of feather accessories, metallic embellishments and beautiful beading. She presumes it to be the ‘Great Gatsby’ influence, a bow to style of 1920’.
